Bacolod City – The Bacolod City Fire Station recently launched the “Reels-On-The-Bus” Fire Safety Advocacy Campaign, spearheaded by City Fire Marshal FCInsp. Stephen Jardeleza, in partnership with Negros East Transport Service Cooperative (NETSCO) and the City Government of Bacolod (BCD PIO).
The initiative aims to promote fire safety awareness among commuters in Bacolod City.
The centerpiece of the campaign is a compelling 30-second fire safety advocacy video, strategically placed within all six modernized jeepneys operated by NETSCO, traversing the Mansilingan – Downtown Area and vice versa route. Each day, the video will be played 120 times, ensuring maximum exposure to approximately 350 to 400 passengers per modernized jeepney.
“We are excited to introduce the ‘Reels-On-The-Bus’ Fire Safety Advocacy Campaign, which leverages the ubiquity of public transportation to deliver vital fire safety messages to our community,” Jardeleza said.
“This initiative aligns perfectly with Mayor Albee Benitez’s vision of transforming Bacolod City into a Smart City, where innovation and safety go hand in hand.”
