The Department of Information Technology (DICT) Provincial Officer Engr. Ricardo T. Bacolod, Jr., along with DICT technical personnel Jerile R. Pakino PDO-1 and Clark Consigna PDO-1, DVAS Coordinator , visited Mayor Georgia D. Gokiangkee paid a courtesy call about the roll-out of the D-VAS in the Municipality of Claver.
The DICT VAS, also known as D-VAS, is a component of the Department’s Vaccine Information Management System (VIMS), which was created to support the government’s nationwide immunization program. The VIMS is made up of two parts: the VIMS – Immunization Registry for master listing and vaccination pre-registration, and the D-VAS for the vaccine recipient directory.
Thus, providing an assessment in order to implement an automated work procedure in the Vaccination Center (bakuna site) through the implementation of computer systems to streamline and simplify the COVID-19 vaccination process.
