Davao Del Norte Governor Delivers Food Packs To Province’s LGUs

Davao del Norte:    Provincial Governor Edwin I. Jubahib personally delivered thousands of food packs as  the provincial government of Davao del Norte wages  the second round distribution in six LGUs last week.

The Governor started this batch of distribution by handing out 9,636 food packs to barangay Dagohoy, Palma Gil, and Sto. Nino in the Municipality of Talaingod.

Then he went to the Municipality of Asuncion where he distributed 20,339 food packs to its 20 barangays with each pack containing five kilos of 160 rice and five canned goods.

Receiving 17,968 food packs, the Municipality of New Corella was the third LGU to have been given food packs by the Governor.

Then in San Isidro, Governor Jubahib delivered 8,482 food packs across all of its 13 barangays where he encouraged the people to plant vegetables so they can have something to eat in case the quarantine lasts longer.

The fourth LGU was Kapalong where he went through all 14 barangays to hand out 28,699 food packs.

And on Sunday, before the Governor’s birthday on Monday April 27, he was met with a birthday song, flowers, and cakes brought by the barangay officials of  the Municipality of Carmen and Municipal Mayor Virginina Perandos as he was delivering the 27,157 food packs to all 20 barangays.

He also thanked the initiatives of the barangays in helping the local government and promised to return the favor.
