Nadawat sa kabomberohan ang alarma alas 2:37 sa kadlawon ug gipaubos sa third alarm.
Nakontrolar ang sunog alas 2:45 sa hapon ug pasado alas 10 na kini sa gabii hingpit nga napawong.
Gibutyag ni Codilla sa interview sa DYKC Karambola Bisaya nga migamit sila ug aqueous-film-forming foam (AFFF) pag blanket o habol sa kayo aron mapawng kini.
Mipahibaw sab si MCIAA acting General Manager Glenn Napuli nga mipadala silag Aviation Firetruck nga dunay AFFF capability nga gamit sa sunog sa mga aircraft.
Mipagawas na sa ilang Official Statement sa kompaniya.
“Treasure Island Industrial Corporation with the public to inform that early this morning 11th of February 2021 at Pilit, Cabancalan Mandaue City, Cebu, a fire broke out at the chemical section of our plant. The other sections of the plant are unaffected,’ pahibaw sa maong kompaniya.
