The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will be adopting new rules during the Career Service Examination it will hold in four regions in July.

In a statement, CSC said it will be conducting a Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) on 18 July 2021 in Western Visayas, Central Visayas, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

During the said exams, CSC will only allow 50 percent  occupancy per testing room to allow adequate space for physical distancing.

It will also assign examinees with special needs (e.g., pregnant women, persons with disability, elderly), examinees with comorbidities will be in separate room/s.

Examinees must also pre-accomplish a Health Declaration form, which could be downloaded in CSC’s website and to register with the StaySafe.PH contact tracing app of the government.

CSC also disregarded the orientation prior to the test proper to minimize the risk of spreading the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in testing centers.

Last, examinees will also have to strictly comply with minimum health standards such as wearing of  face masks and face shields and practice physical distancing during physical filing of application and on the day of exam.

CSC said the application period for the July CSE-PPT is from 14 May to 3 June 2021;

“Acceptance of applications shall be on a first-come, first-served basis and may close any time once the CSC Regional/Field Office (CSC RO/FO) has reached its target number of applicants,” CSC said.
