COVID-19 cases in Baguio rise to 4

The number of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) cases in the city continues to increase following the recent confirmation done by the health department on the fourth case in the city.
The 4th confirmed COVID-19 case in the city was a 23-year old male who reportedly worked in Ortigas Center, Pasig City and history of travel to Baguio City, where he resides, last March 16, 2020. He allegedly possessed the symptoms of the virus upon arrival in the city and was compelled to undergo the required medical checkup last March 20, 2020 where his swab samples were taken and his positive test results were released last March 23, 2020.
The third COVID-19 case in the city was PUI 95 who is a 55-year old male who is working in one of the chambers of the Congress of the Philippines who traveled from Makati City to Baguio City and had onset of the symptoms of the deadly virus on March 12, 2020.
However, he worked out his being transferred to a Level 3 hospital in Metro Manila and that he is now doing well in the said health facility.
The second confirmed COVID-19 case in the city is a 57-year old female who had history of travel from Manila to Baguio city and had onset of symptoms last March 6, 2020. She was earlier identified as PUI 66 who is in in stable condition in a Level 3 health facility in the city.
Earlier, the health department Monday confirmed the first COVID-19 case in the city to be a 61-year old female Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) from Italy who arrived in the city last March 2, 2020 and had onset of the symptoms of cough, colds and sore throat and underwent medical checkup last March 7, 2020 and she is now in stable condition in a Level 3 hospital in the city.
On the other hand, the three (3) remaining presumptive COVID-19 cases in the city include PUI 103 who is a 55-year old female who had history of travel from Quezon City, Manila and Baguio City and had onset of symptoms last March 10, 2020 but eventually died last March 18, 2020; PUI 121 who is a 31-year old male who had history of travel from Taguig City to Baguio City and had onset of symptoms last March 16, 2020 and is now in stable condition in a Level 3 health facility in the city and PUI 125 who is a 49-year old male bus conductor who had history of travel from Manila to Baguio City and is now confined in a Level 3 health facility in the city and the latest to be included is a male working in Ortigas Center, Pasig City that had history of travel from his place of work to the city.
