Another set of Philippine-registered Vessels engaged in domestic trade has been successfully inspected by Coast Guard Station Surigao del Norte Vessel Safety Enforcement Inspection (VSEI) Team at PGMC Beaching Area, Brgy Cagdianao, Claver, Surigao del Norte last Wednesday, 26 May 2021.
Vessels chartered by Platinum Group Metals Corporation (PGMC) underwent Vessel Safety Enforcement Inspection (VSEI) in consonance to the marching order of COMMODORE LUISITO S SIBAYAN PCG the Commander of Coast Guard District Northeastern Mindanao to verify the continuing compliance of Shipping Companies operating within the CARAGA Region in order to ascertain seaworthiness of their vessels prior respective voyages.
Furthermore, CDR. ELAINE R. PANGILINAN, PCG the Station Commander of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Surigao del Norte likewise directed VSEI Inspectors within CGS Surigao del Norte AOR to thoroughly and religiously inspect the vessels to be able to help the Shipping Companies comply in the safety standards set by the authorities.
