
Apart from giving incentives and recognition to workers who are inoculated, the property arm of DMCI Holdings Inc., in partnership with local government units (LGUs), held its own vaccination drive in its project sites.
In partnership with the Quezon City local government, DMCI Homes was able to inoculate some 664 workers in Crestmont and Cameron Residences project sites during the initial vaccination drive in its recruitment office along EDSA in Barangay South Triangle, Quezon City from August 19 to 20.
The company also assisted 500 workers from its Infina Towers and 114 workers from Celandine project sites get inoculated at the Quezon City Hall last August 20 and August 25.
Some 137 workers in Aston Place construction site have been assisted to get inoculated in various vaccination sites in Pasay City.
âWe hope to have more workers vaccinated in the coming weeks through the help of our partner LGUs. Weâve been encouraging them also to enlist in their respective LGUs so we can achieve our goal for herd immunity faster,â DMCI Homes Vice President for Human Resources Teresa Tiongson said.
As of August 27, 4,623 of DMCI Homesâ 11,757 construction workers have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
Tiongson said DMCI Homes aims to have all or most of its workers who are willing to be vaccinated at the soonest possible time with the support of LGUs.
