In response to the great need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) for our medical frontliners, Congressman Robert Ace Barbers, in collaboration with JCI Philippines, donated 100 pieces of PPEs at the Caraga Regional Hospital in Surigao City. Duly represented by Cong. Barbers’ representative, Ma’am Liza L. Monteros, District Office Head, the PPEs were given and accepted by Ms. Grace Platil, Assistant Chief Nurse on behalf of the hospital staff.
The attending medical frontliners had expressed their deepest gratitude for Cong. Barbers because this is a big help for them as they really need it for their work in combating the spread of COVID-19. Congressman Barbers, who previously donated medical equipment and passed RA 11472 on increasing bed capacity in the said hospital, will continue to support any other hospital needs, particularly during this pandemic, when support is most needed for the medical frontliners.
