“SAFETY AND SECURITY IS PARAMOUNT AT ALL TIMES”
Coast Guard Station Surigao del Norte headed by the Station Commander CG CDR. ELAINE R. PANGILINAN together with Coast Guard Special Operations Unit – Northeastern Mindanao (CGDNEM) rendered security assistance to the employees of City Government of Surigao particularly City Gender and Development (GAD) Division and City Health Office today, 02 July 2021.
PCG likewise ensured the safe transport of City Employees onboard PCG Patrol Boat 151 which subsequently visited Brgy. Danawan, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.
The visit was purposely to conduct several activities related to Gender and Development and Health such as Gender Sensitivity Training (GST), update Violence against Women (VAW) Desk Office, advocacy on Gender Mainstreaming, Health Education among pregnant/lactating women, parents with malnourished children, adolescents/youths and provision of dental services among children.
CG CDR PANGILINAN emphasized that PCG in Surigao del Norte will incessantly support all the endeavors of the City Government of Surigao for the betterment of all “Surigaonons”.
