Zamboanga City – The city government reminded establishments anew to observe and comply with existing COVID-19 regulations to ensure safety of their patrons.

“We would want, as much as possible, your cooperation,” said City Tourism Officer Sarita Sebastian, echoing Mayor Beng Climaco’s earlier call for Zamboangueños to responsibly follow health and safety protocols.

For events and activities, Sebastian reminded organizers and local establishments to ensure that regulations and protocols on safety are observed at all times within their facilities.

“Necesita el maga visita ta anda na di ustedes facilidad, ta sigi muy bien con el health and safety protocol,” (It is needed that those shoppers or visitors going to your establishments are strictly following the health and safety protocol,) she said.

Sebastian also reminded restaurants and bars of the existing curfew in the city, noting that they must allow their employees and workers enough time to go home so as not to violate the curfew.

The city currently observes curfew from 10 PM to 4 AM.

“Let us be responsible, let us help each other,” said Sebastian. (LGU Public Information Office)
