The City Government through Mayor John Dalipe recognizes an employee of the City Treasurer’s Office detailed at the Integrated Bus Terminal night market parking area, for turning over to proper authorities a Metrobank Foreign Currency Passbook with cash containing P28K he found along the IBT driveway Friday night, February 10.
KEEMPEE BERNARDO, who serves as a parking collector, promptly turned over the passbook and cash to IBT Supervising Transportation Regulation Officer Rafael Derick Evangelista III, as the owner could not be located in the complex and at the night market.
Dalipe recognized Bernardo for his integrity and honesty making him a role model not only for city government employees but for all residents of the city.
Bernardo was recognized during the flag raising ceremony at the City Hall grounds Monday morning.
Meanwhile, Evangelista has made proper coordination with Metrobank for the return of the passbook and cash. Metrobank officials are expected to meet with Mayor Dalipe and Bernardo in City Hall Monday afternoon for the proper turnover.
