The City Government of Iriga has set a public hearing and consultation today on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) at Villa Mary Ann Function Garden, San Agustin, Iriga City.
The Updated CLUP is finally presented to the public for comments and inputs to all sectors concerned which is material in the CLUP planning process.
Present during the hearing were Mayor Wilfredo Rex Oliva, Vice Mayor Edsel Dimaiwat, Sangguniang Panlungsod Members Melnan Murallo, Katherine Dominique Lagrimas, Jeff Tino, Dandreb Abonite, Jessie Abonite Jr, Wilfranco Guevarra and Michael Samarita. Barangay officials and representatives of various stakeholders were present during the hearing.
This event was spearheaded by the Office of the City Planning and Development Coordinator, lead office in the formulation of the CLUP, headed by Engr. Cynthia D. Audal.
The CLUP is the key planning document defines the allocation, utilization, development and management of all lands within a given territory or jurisdiction to the inherent qualities of the land itself and supportive of sustainable, economic, demographic, socio-cultural and environmental objectives as an aid to decision-making and legislation.
The Updated CLUP is to be implemented from 2023-2027.
