Combined forces and detectives from CIDG led by Police Lieutenant Rey Gallego, PNP Special Action Forces and San Francisco Police force raided the house of Mayor Guia Plaza-Sabanal in Poblacion, San Francisco around 6:00 PM of May 10, 2019.
Armed with a Search Warrant no. 2019-296 issued by Hon.Lou A. Nueva Executive Judge RTC 10th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Bayugan City dated May 6, 2019 to the residence of the above mentioned person for violation of RA 10591.
That upon entering at the premises of the above subject person, political supporters and unidentified male factors scampered and run towards the back portion of the premises. Upon chasing, one male factors drop a black sling bag at the back portion of the house while fleeing. That upon verification of the sling bag it was found out to be containing a caliber .38 pistol and a fragmentation grenade.
Confiscated pieces of evidences like:
a. One (1) unit cal.38 revolver without SN
b. Five (5) rounds live ammos for cal .38 revolver.
c. One (1) pc fragmentation grenade.
Incidental to a lawfull search, the following items were found at the residence of the above subject person apparently ready for distributions to wit;
d. Cash Money amounting to 5,952,000.00 in one thousand peso denomination with attached paper clip named SABANAL GUIA “MAYOR”
e. Sample ballots
f. Short White envelop with marking “MAYOR” SABANAL, GUIA
g. List of Voters with precinct number.
Said confiscated items were brought to CIDGSDN PFU for proper disposition.
