Ang Transformatiion Summit proper ipahigayon karong Hulyo 13 ngadto sa 15 nga gipaabot nga tambongan sa mga stake holders sa industriya, Local Government Unit ug academe.
Gikonsidera ang IT BPM nga usa sa mga economic driver sa Sugbo taliwa sa pandemic.
Gipasabot ni Villarin nga kinahanglan i develop ang talents sa industriya tungod kay alang niya nga mahimo kining “war of talents” .
“As the industry grows a lot of talents will be needed by the players. So to attract more investors we need to have more talents as well in Cebu,” mensahi ni Villarin.
Gibutyag ni Darwin Jhon Moises, Chairman 2022 Transformation Summit sa CEB.O , nga ang industriya sa IT BPM sa Pilipinas mokabat ug USD 23B to USD 25B ngadto na sa USD 27B.
“That’s how big and it’s providing opportunities of our 1.4 million Filipinos. But not many actually have full appreciation because if we are talking about 1.4 million people, these are direct employees but the other piece also is that the BPO industry or the IT BPM industry also has a multiplier effect across other industries,” pahibaw ni Moises.

Nagkanayon si Moises nga sa pag bana bana , matag usa ka direct nga employment sa IT BPM industry, mo translate kini ug upat ka indirect employments.
Sa tuig 2020, gisaysay sa chairman dihang gipa-ubos ug “huge lockdown”, pagsugod sa pandemic, mitubo ang industriya, in terms of headcount misaka kini ug 1.8 porsento, sa revenue misaka ug 1.4 porsento bisan pa sa lockdown nga nahitabo nianang tuiga.
Niadtong 2021 ug sa umaabot gibana bana nga mosaka kini ngato sa sa 5 porsento.
Sa iyang bahin, si Ms Debra Sitoy, HR sa IONOS Philippines, webhosting company nga European based, mipahibaw nga sento porsento nang naka balik on-site ang ilang mga empleyado.
Gi-angkon ni Sitoy nga bisan kon wala sila maka andam sa pag-igo sa pandemic apan mi-adjust sila sa ilang strategic planning ug sa pagsunod sa mga palisiya nga gipatuman sa goberno.
Gidugang niini nga duna na silay mahimong template kung ugaling, dunay susamang moigo nga pandemiya.
Si Ms Rhea Uy sa Lexmark mopaambit sa “digitalization strategy ug “data to value”, usa ka area sa global business service sa kompaniya.
Matod ni Uy nga usa kini ka bag-ong tool kung gi-unsa nila pag “operationalizing the digitalization” ubos sa area sa data analytics.
