The Department of Health (DOH) Caraga states that the region remains COVID-19 free despite the declaration of Code Red Sublevel 1 in the country.
At present, 10 persons under monitoring (PUMs) are currently being monitored by the agency.
DOH Caraga regional director Dr. Jose Llacuna, Jr. bared that the agency, as well as concerned health stakeholders will continue to abide and implement the protocol set by the Inter-Agency Task Force for COVID-19.
He assured Caraganons that there is no need to panic over COVID-19, as they are closely monitoring the situation of the region.
Likewise, he urged the public to continue following the health protocol provided by DOH such as washing hands correctly and frequently, practicing prescribed cough etiquette, and staying away from crowded areas. (Susil Ragas, PIA)
