Caraga Cops Nab Korean National, 2 Others Accused Of Act Of Lasciviousness

Camp Col. Rafael C. Rodriguez, Butuan City – Caraga Police arrested a Korean national and two others who were accused of acts of lasciviousness in separate manhunt operations in Caraga region yesterday, April 12.

In Butuan City, police arrested Sango Han, who has been arrested by personnel of Butuan City Police Station 1 in his residence in Purok 1, Galaxy, Barangay Banza, Butuan City around 3:00 PM

The accused has a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 1, Hall of Justice, Barangay Libertad, Butuan City on March 19, 2021 under Criminal Case No. 2021-227 for Act of Lasciviousness in relation to RA 7610 or the act providing for the special protection of children against abuse.

A bail of ₱ 80,000 was recommended for the accused.

Han was accused of victimizing a 14-years-old student from Buenavista, Agusan del Norte. The victim told the police that Han touched her private parts sometime on June 1, 2020.

The operatives from Prosperidad Municipal Police Station also served the warrants to Kim Degorio, 31, in Barangay La Purisima and Gerson Allones Gavino, 48, in Purok 6, Barangay Los Arcos, both in Prosperidad town, Agusan del Sur.

“The accused persons were brought to their respective police stations for documentation prior to turnover to the courts of origin,” said PBGEN ROMEO M CARAMAT JR, regional director PRO13.

PNP Caraga, under the guidance of C,PNP Police General DEBOLD M SINAS, said that such effort is a demonstration of lasting motivations of Caraga policemen to serve the public better.
