Be informed that at about 11:30 AM of December 28, 2020, PNP personnel of Dipolog City Police Station (CPS) led by PCpl. Jomar Baso conducted anti-illegal fishing operation along the Coastal Area, Boulevard, Brgy. Miputak, Dipolog City that resulted in the arrest of two (2) fishermen involved in illegal fishing, identified as Rolito Suan Tamayo, 28 years old, married, a resident of Brgy. Galas, Dipolog City; and Bismark Sanson, 32, years old, Married and a resident of Barra, Dipolog City.
Confiscated from their possession was the illegal fishnet locally known as “baling”.
The arrested suspects and seized fishnet are now in custody of Dipolog CPS for Proper disposition.
