Cagayan de Oro: Usa (1) bus nga nahulog sa may Mangima, Bukidnon

Nadisgrasya ang usa ka Bus nga VEH-1 RTMI nga nagdala ug numero nga No. 2821, aduna kini sakay nga 32 ka mga pasahero lakip na ang kundoktor. Ang maong insidente natigayon sa may Sayre Highway Mangima Barangay Tankulan Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon banda alss 7:00 pm sa kagabiihon, Agosto 13, 2022.

Ang nasampit nga Bus, gimaneho ni Tommy Magno nga lumulupyo sa San Andres, Bunawan, Agusan de Sur.

Sa inisyal nga imbestigasyon nasayran nga ang maong sakyanan padulong sa Davao City gikan sa Cagayan de Oro City pag-abot sa descending curve road ang brake mechanism nag malfunction ug nahulog sa bung-aw hinungdan sa pagkaangol sa mga pasahero ug daling gidala sa Bukidnon Provincial Hospital Annex, San Miguel, Bukidnon alang sa ilang pagpatambal.
Ang maong insidente usab walay kamatayon nga na-record.

Usa usab ka press release ang gipagawas sa RURAL TRANSIT (MINDANAO), Inc. kabahin niini diin nangayo sila og sinsiro nga pasaylo ngadto sa mga biktima og sa ilang mga pamilya.

” The management of Rural Transit (Mindanao), Inc., Yacapin Branch, would like to extend our sincerest apologies to the families of the passengers and those who were injured in the incident involving our bus with the body number 2821 that took place this August 13, 2022 at around 6:40 in the evening at Mangima, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. The bus was on its way to Davao City when the heavy rains and blind curve caused it to fall down the ravine.

All the passengers, which includes the driver and conductor, are being taken care of. Ten of the passengers who sustained minor injuries were immediately brought to Manolo Fortich Provincial Hospital, Malaybalay Polymedic Hospital, and Pahilan Doctor’s Hospital for further treatment. The other passengers had undergone X-Ray and were subsequently sent home by the physicians.

RTMI is conducting its own investigation regarding this incident so that we can make sure that no other incidents similar to this can happen in the future.
