On Monday’s regular session, the 20th City Council unanimously deferred the proposed ordinance accepting the offer of Liberty Land Corporation to turn over to the City Government the roads and common areas of its Westgate Highlands Phase 3 subdivision project, located at Upper Palalan, Barangay Lumbia.
This after Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya manifested the request of
Westgate Homeowners Association, thru its President, for a three-month extension considering the new set of officers is yet to prepare and create new committees that will facilitate the enforcement of law and order within the subdivision.
The leverage will also afford them enough time to find means that will defray all the necessary expenses that will be incurred in the course of the turn-over, the request further cited.
The Gavel learned that the project was issued a Certificate of Completion by the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development Regional Office 10 on March 4, 2021.
