Travelers from outside Caraga now required to present negative RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen test result to enter Butuan City.
To protect the city from the fast increase of COVID-19 cases thereby overwhelming the hospitals throughout the country, Butuan City now requires travelers from outside Caraga Region to present a negative test result. Based on EO 11-A, the negative result of Reverse-Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) or Rapid Antigen Test (AgT) should be taken within five days before departure and will be required before boarding any airplane, ship, or bus bound for the city.
Thereafter, incoming passengers will be subjected to a free mandatory repeat RT-PCR Testing in LGU testing centers within 5 days upon arrival in Butuan City. (via Butuan City PIO)
