With the surge of COVID-19 cases in the region, the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has placed Butuan City and the entire province of Agusan del Sur under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) effective June 1-15, 2021 as announced by President Rodrigo Duterte during his “Talk to the Nation” last Monday night, May 31, 2021.
