Benguet launched unity walk for S.A.F.E 2022


Benguet Police Provincial Office initiated a unity walk for a Secure, Accurate, Free, and Fair Elections (SAFE) 2022 in La Trinidad, Benguet on March 17, 2022.

Police officers of Benguet PPO with the personnel of COMELEC-Benguet, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), and the Provincial Electoral Candidates of Benguet walked from La Trinidad Municipal Grounds to the Provincial Capitol Grounds of Benguet in which a program was held to promote a SAFE 2022 Elections.

The program was highlighted with an ecumenical prayer for peace and peace covenant signing or the signing of the Integrity Pledge.

Benguet PPO Provincial Director, PCOL Reynaldo Pasiwen said that the conduct of free and peaceful elections in the province of Benguet must be sustained through the collaborative efforts of the different government agencies, religious groups, and the Benguet Province Electoral Candidates.

“With our collective efforts, we can proudly say that the voice of the people is the voice of God. I, therefore, urge everyone to follow the rules set by COMELEC and make the election in the province peaceful. On the part of PNP, Benguet PPO will remain apolitical and fair in treating every candidate”, PCOL PASIWEN added. (PROCOR-PIO)
