SIX HUNDRED TWELVE THOUSAND PESOS (P612,000.00) worth of shabu weighing almost 90 grams were confiscated in a buy-bust operation yesterday May 16, 2025 in Barangay Sta. Scholastica Village, Baguio City by elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency- Cordillera (PDEA-CAR) Baguio/Benguet together with the Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET), and PNP Drug Enforcement Group- Special Operating Unit

The almost 90 grams of suspected shabu was packed in two (2) heat sealed plastic sachets and one (1) knot-tied plastic bag along with several drug paraphernalia. PDEA-Cordillera Regional Director Derrick Arnold C. Carreon identified the suspects as a 41-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman who lived in Baguio City. Both individuals will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165, or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.
