Mitambong sa inagurasyon sa maong airport si Office of The Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV) Secretary Michael Lloyd Dino.
Si Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia maoy nangulo sa programa sa nahisgutang kalihukan ug gitambongan sab kini nila ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority General Manager Atty. Steve Dicdican, ug mga local chief executives sa Sta. Fe, Bantayan, ug Madridejos.
Ang dul-an sa ₱ 100-million rehabilitation project naglangkob sa renovation sa terminal building, extension sa runway gikan sa 900 metros ngadto na sa 1.2 kilometro.
Lakip na sab ang pagbutang ug perimeter fence.
Gipaabot nga ang bag-ong pasilidad maka pa umento sa kita, maka dapit ug dugang mga turista ug maka palambo sa lokal nga ekonomiya. (Jhon Tadlip Jr.)
