The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) has implemented a minor reshuffling among its personnel since January 22, 2021.
Among those who were reshuffled effective January 25 were five station commanders, according to Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, BCPO’s public information officer.
Major Jovil Sedel, head of Police Station 1 was replaced by Major Ramel Sarona from Police Station 6.
Sedel was transferred to the City Investigation and Detection Management Unit (CIDMU) at the headquarters, while Sarona’s post was assumed by Captain Leo Estopa, head of Police Station 2.
Estopa’s post was replaced by Lieutenant Joven Mogato, former deputy station commander of the said police station.
Lieutenant Christine Cerbo was assigned as assistant chief of CIDMU.
The post of Major Charles Gever, head of Police Station 4 was assumed by Major Jun Ray Batadlan, head of Police Station 8.
Gever was moved to the City Plans and Policies Unit (CPPU) while Batadlan’s post in Police Station 8 was assumed by his deputy station commander.
Captain Armilyn Vargas, head of City Community and Affairs Development Unit (CCADU) was reassigned as commander of Police Station 10.
Vargas’s post was assumed by Major Sherlock Gabana, who also concurrently heads the Human Resource department.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Lester Leada, head of CPPU was transferred as chief of City Operations Management Unit (COMU), while Lieutenant Ramie Sayson, deputy station commander of Police Station 5 was reassigned as officer-in-charge of Police Station 7.
Also, Major Joeffer Cabural from Police Regional Office -6 was reassigned to the City Intelligence Unit (CIU) effective January 22, 2021.
Captain Paul Vincent Pendon from CIU was reassigned as chief of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU).
Pico said the movement was normal for the career enhancement of police officers.
