Bacolod City – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) and the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) here almost reached their target populations for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination.
Police Lieutenant Abegael Donasco, NOCPPO’s information officer, said that 98 percent of their personnel were already vaccinated. This comprised of 2,335 vaccinated personnel, she added.
Donasco said that only 38 of their personnel have yet to receive the COVID-19 jabs because of their comorbidities.
Meanwhile, Donasco said the provincial police force has recorded three active cases of COVID-19.
For the BCPO, 97 percent of their personnel were already fully vaccinated against the virus.
