Bacolod City – The Bacolod City Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and the COVID-19 Vaccination Council (CoVaC), both chaired by Mayor Bing Leonardia, is now being held the City’s mass vaccination at the Cinema lobby at the south wing of SM City.
The scheduled vaccination at SM City, will end on May 7, from 10 AM to 5 PM, is to accommodate the remaining frontline healthcare workers, senior citizens, and persons with co-morbidities who were not inoculated yet.
Their schedule of vaccination is based on a first-come first-served sequence in the order that their registration came into the City’s data base.
For crowd control and physical distancing protocols, walk-ins are not allowed.
Leading the program before the start of the vaccination are Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, chair of IATF and vice chair of CoVaC; City Administrator Em Ang, executive director of EOC and coordinator of CoVaC; Secretary to the Mayor Atty. Edward Joseph Cuansing, EOC deputies for medical Dr. Chris Sorongon and Dr. Anna Ma. Laarni Pornan, Contact Tracing head Dr. Rosalie Deocampo, and Ben Arnel Dela Cruz of DOH-6 regional office.
