Gov. Lalo Matugas requested the National Executive Board (NEB) of the League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP) to intervene and respectfully request the PCSO to approve Gov. Lalo’s request to include Caraga Regional Hospital and Surigao del Norte Provincial Hospital, both located in this Province, in the financial assistance to the hospitals under Bayanihan to Heal as One Act. Said request was duly seconded by other Provincial Governors in Caraga, which in turn, carried by LPP-NEB.
LPP is headed by its National President Gov. Presbitero J. Velasco, Jr. (Gov. of the Province of Marinduque and former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court).
