The Philippine flag was placed over his casket by San Jose Mayor Yngwie Hero Ecleo, Governor Kaka Bag-ao, Vice Governor Nilo Demerey, Jr., and the officers of the Philippine National Police, the Philippine Coast Guard, and the Philippine Navy.
The remains of Ruben B. Ecleo, Jr. arrived today at the Port of San Jose this late afternoon and were transported through a motorcade to the PBMA Shrine. The streets were lined with Dinagatnons who paid their respects to their late leader.
