Camp Col. Rafael C. Rodriguez, Butuan City – Police operatives of Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office arrested the suspect tagged in the killing of late Barangay Captain Teotemio C Saday of Barangay Cabantao, Rosario, Agusan del Sur and seriously wounding of his driver, Kenken Tuyor, on the evening of September 6, 2018, following the successful law enforcement operation in Barangay Santa Cruz, Rosario yesterday, July 16.
POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M. CARAMAT, JR., Regional Director of PNP Caraga identified the suspect as Warren Ebaldone, 44 years old, resident of Purok Kawayan, Brgy. Santa Cruz, Rosario, Agusan del Sur.
Personnel of Rosario Municipal Police Station (MPS) swooped the residence of Ebaldone and implemented his arrest by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated July 6, 2021, issued by 10th Judicial Region, Branch 6, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur for the crime of Frustrated Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 10614 with a recommended bail of ₱ 200,000.00.
“After more than two years of hiding, the suspect is now placed behind bars where he shall pay the consequences of his criminal acts,” RD CARAMAT, JR. said.
The region’s top cop attributed the success of the operation to the dedication of Rosario police to give justice to the victims and their families who suffered after the incident.
