Additional 179 new cases, 70 new recoveries and 7 new mortalities were recorded as of September 26, 2021, bringing the total confirmed COVID-19 cases for Zamboanga City to 15,107.
Of the total confirmed cases, 1,593 are ACTIVE cases, 12,814 are RECOVERIES while 700 are deaths.
Community transmission continues to be the main cause of infection as 1,563 of the total active cases are from the community, 22 are APOR while 8 are detainees.
The City Government reminds the 98 barangays to intensify barangay sita efforts by conducting roving activities to ensure people’s compliance of minimum health standards and to prevent the 3 Cs – crowded places, closed spaces and close contacts.
No one is safe until everyone is safe.
