Strict health protocols are observed as the vaccines arrived at the Bancasi Airport in Butuan City this morning while the team led by DOH-Caraga with the PNP made sure that these vaccines are secured.

Today’s arrival of the vaccines for Caraga region is documented by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga as it streams live via its Facebook Page. The team is now heading to the storage center of DOH-Caraga in Brgy. Doongan, Butuan City.
As the vaccines arrived in Caraga region today, March 5 at the Bancasi airport in Butuan City, the medical health workers expressed their optimism that they would soon be inoculated being part of the priority sectors for the vaccination program of the government.
Immediately after its arrival at the Bancasi Airport in Butuan City this morning, the 9,000 vaccines are then taken to the storage facility of DOH-Caraga. The implementation of the vaccination program is expected to commence on Monday, March 8 for the priority sectors in the region.
DOH-Caraga regional director Dr. Jose Llacuna, Jr., bared that the 9,000 vaccines will be equitably distributed to the different health facilities in Caraga region. He added that the health care workers who will be inoculated as among the priority sectors have expressed their willingness and consent to take the vaccines for their protection.
