8 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Reported In Zamboanga Del Sur As Of 4:00 PM, December 8, 2020

1. ZDS 1008 – A 23 y.o. male, from Purok Kinhason, Panduma, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur. With history of exposure in the workplace. Symptomatic. Rapid Diagnostic Test Result: IGM and IGG Reactive. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 1, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated in a Covid Isolation Unit of Tukuran. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is ongoing.
2. ZDS 1009 – A 28 y.o. female, from Purok Malagaron, Blancia, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur. Without history of travel/exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 case. Symptomatic. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 3, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated in a Covid Isolation Unit of Molave. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is ongoing.
3. ZDS 1010 – A 26 y.o. male, from Chrispin Atilano, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur. A close contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case. Symptomatic. Rapid Antigen Test Result: Negative. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 3, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently admitted in a Covid Isolation Unit of a Government Hospital since November 30, 2020. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is ongoing.
4. ZDS 1011– A 15 y.o. female, from Purok 6, Happy Valley, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur. A close contact of ZDS 864. Asymptomatic. Rapid Antigen Test Result: Negative. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 2, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated in a Covid Isolation Unit of Tambulig. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is ongoing.
5. ZDS 1012 – A 53 y.o. male, from Purok Boongon, Don Jose, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur. Without history of travel/exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 Case. Symptomatic with comorbid illness. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 8, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Admitted in a Covid Isolation Unit of a Government Hospital last December 5, 2020, unfortunately he died last December 6, 2020; 6:15 PM. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is ongoing.
6. ZDS 1013 – A 31 y.o. female, from Door 1 Ellorimo, Madasigon, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur. A close contact of a confirmed COVID-19 Case. Asymptomatic. Rapid Antigen Test Result: Negative. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 7, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated in a Covid Isolation Unit of a Government Hospital since December 6, 2020. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is ongoing.
7. ZDS 1014 – A 26 y.o. female, from Purok Bonifacio, Sto. Niño, Pagadian City. Without history of travel/exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 Case. Asymptomatic. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 7, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated in a Covid Isolation Unit of a Government Hospital since December 6, 2020. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is ongoing.
8. ZDS 1015 – A 67 y.o. female, from Purok Talisay B, Kawit, Pagadian City. Symptomatic. Rapid Antigen Test taken last December 4, 2020. Result: Positive and declared as COVID-19 Confirmed Positive. Currently admitted in a Covid Isolation Unit of a Private Hospital since December 12, 2020. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
