THE Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday logged 7,174 additional Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 1,101,990.
There were also 9,197 recoveries and 204 deaths.
Of the total number of cases, 5.6 percent (61,294) are active cases, 92.8 percent (1,022,224) have recovered, and 1.68 percent (18,472) have died.
Moreover, 149 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.
All laboratories were operational on May 7, 2021 and all were able to submit their data to the Covid-19 Document Repository System.
