There are now 64 locally transmitted cases in Caraga region, per DOH Caraga’s data presented during the 7th RTF COVID-19 virtual meeting today, August 12.
Majority of these cases were detected in Butuan City, comprising 67% of the total number of cases, while 16% were detected within the vicinity of a private company in the said city; 12% are workers of the THPAL Nickel Corporation in Claver, Surigao del Norte; 3% in a hospital in Agusan del Sur; and 2% with a travel history in Butuan City.
