6 New Confirmed COVID–19 Cases Added to Zamboanga del Sur Today

1. ZDS 1041 – A 29 y.o. female, government employee, from Villa Hermosa Subdivision, Banale, Pagadian City. Without history of travel/exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 case. Asymptomatic. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 11, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated in a Covid Isolation Unit of a Government Hospital since December 4, 2020. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
2. ZDS 1042 – A 15 y.o. female, from Zone 3, Tiguma, Pagadian City. Without history of travel/exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 case. Asymptomatic. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 14, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated in a Covid Isolation Unit of a Government Hospital since December 11, 2020. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
3. ZDS 1043 – A 14 y.o. female, from Campo Islam, San Pedro, Pagadian City. Without history of travel/exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 case. Asymptomatic. Rapid Diagnostic Test Result: IGM and IGG Reactive. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 13, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated in a Covid Isolation Unit of a Government Hospital since December 11, 2020.  Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
4. ZDS 1044 – A 64 y.o. male, from Alta Tierra, Tiguma, Pagadian City. Without history of travel/exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 case. Symptomatic with comorbid illness. Rapid Diagnostic Test Result: Nonreactive. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 11, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated in a Covid Isolation Unit of a Private Hospital since December 11, 2020.  Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
5. ZDS 1045 – A 35 y.o. male, from Purok Nazareth 2, Buenavista, Pagadian City. Without history of travel/exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 case. Asymptomatic. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 10, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated at Pagadian City Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility.  Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
6. ZDS 1046 – A 30 y.o. male, from Purok Riverside, Pagadian City. A close contact of ZDS 1024. Asymptomatic. Naso/Oropharyngeal swab taken last December 9, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated at Pagadian City Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility.  Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
