453 new police officers deployed in different areas in Cordillera

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad Benguet: Four Hundred Fifty-three (453) Patrol Men and Women were turned-over to the Force Commanders of different Police Provincial Offices during a simple Send-Off Ceremony at Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.

PLTCOL PETER M TAGTAG, Jr Acting Chief, RPRMD said that they will be deployed to the different Mobile Force units of PROCOR to serve as additional striking force.

The 453 Patrol Men and Patrolwomen were distributed as follows: Abra PMFC was allotted with 60 personnel, Apayao PMFC-33, Baguio CMFC – 102, Benguet-74; Ifugao PMFC-31; Kalinga PMFC-61; Mt Province- 48; and RMFB 15 with 44 slots.

These new police personnel have already completed six (6) months Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) and six (6) months Field Training Program (FTP) that honed their efficiency and competence as law enforcement officers.

These police officers will undergo the 60-day Basic Internal Security Operation Course (BISOC) training to further equip them with the knowledge, attitude, skills, and values that will make them more capable and skilled specifically on the anti-insurgency and terrorism campaign of the government.

PBGEN ISRAEL EMPHRAIM T DICKSON, Regional Director challenged the rookies to bring the police closer to the heart of the public. He also reminded them that they are part of the most disciplined police unit in our country and reiterated the marching orders from the higher command.

“I am enjoining you to help sustain that recognition and be mindful of all your actions”, Dickson said.  (PROCOR RPIO)
