At around 10:35 PM (August 20), a total of 39 returning OFWs arrived at the Bancasi Airport aboard PAL sweeper flight PR4867.
The breakdown of the 39 returning OFWs is as follows:
Butuan City – 5
Agusan del Norte – 9
Agusan del Sur – 8
Surigao del Norte – 4
Surigao del Sur – 9
Dinagat Islands – 1
Misamis Oriental – 3 (Gingoog City)
13 of the arriving OFWs (Butuan City – 5; Magallanes – 1; Buenavista – 3; RTR – 1; Sta. Josefa, Agusan del Sur – 1; Veruela, Agusan del Sur – 1; Trento, Agusan del Sur -1) were immediately fetched by their respective LGUs at the airport while the remaining 26 were temporarily billeted at the accommodation arranged by OWWA Caraga while waiting for their concerned LGUs to ferry them in the morning to their respective localities subject to the established health protocols in their area.
