Davao City: The Davao City government has opened three centers for Persons Under Investigation (PUI) of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) infection.
The three centers – the Malagos Rehabilitation Center, La Vida Hotel and the Alternative Learning School (ALS) beside People’s Park passed the final inspection of its preparedness to admit PUIs.
Mayor Inday Sara Duterte said the facilities were checked and any other needs will be provided by the government immediately.
Mayor Sara said the city government took note of all the equipment listed by the Department of Health (DoH) for the centers to hold the PUIs. The city complied according to doctor’s specifications, she added.
The mayor said the doctors from Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) will be responsible for identifying which patients are to be admitted to the PUI Centers.
As of 27 March, there are 28 patients admitted at the Malagos Rehabilitation Center. CIO
