24th Caraga Business Conference Officially Launched


The 24th Caraga Business Conference to be hosted by the Surigao Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. on August 17-19, 2021 was officially launched yesterday, August 5, 2021 at Pakalz Grill and Restaurant along Rizal National Highway in Surigao City.

The Regional Governor for Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Eastern Mindanao Governor Julie Portillo-Senense led the activity being the Guest of Honor.

SCCI President Willie A. Gan said despite the threat of heightened community quarantine status, the businessmen in Caraga Region can still go in their regular business unlike other regions where lockdowns are implemented.

According to PCCI Eastern Mindanao Governor Senense, the annual regional business conference this year supposed to be hosted by Agusan del Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry but they declined due to this pandemic.

“I’m happy that SCCI accepted the challenge to host this blended conference. The Caraga Trade Fair and Exhibit will be at SM City Butuan on August 15-19, 2021. The opening plenary will be on August 17 via zoom or live streaming with the theme: Business Beyond Covid-19: The Path to the New Normal.”

Most of the businessmen suffered losses because of pandemic, others adopted a scheme just to maintain their workforce. This conference will also be the venue for successful big corporation to share their best practices and develop highly competitive, environmentally and socially responsible industries that promotes inclusive growth of the economy.
