PNP personnel of Alicia Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted operation against Illegal Gambling at Brgy. Calades, Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay at 2:35 PM of December 24, 2020.
PBGEN. Ronaldo Genaro E. Ylagan, PRO9 Regional Director said the operation resulted in the arrest of Arnolfo Saga Lagumbay Sr., 68 years old, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok Anahaw, Brgy. Payongan, Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay and Bernie Gerardo Liparto, 17 years old, single, fisherman, and a resident of Sitio Beach, Brgy. Timbang-Timbang, Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay engaged in cock fighting.
Recovered from their possessions were two fighting cocks. Both subject persons and the recovered items were now under custody of Alicia MPS for proper disposition.
