𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱

 After a series of intense and brain-twisting matches, the organizers of the 5th Benguet Chess Tournament officially announced the winners in the Kiddies and Open Divisions during the competition held at Gov. Bado Dangwa Agro-Industrial School (GBDAIS) at Balakbak, Kapangan, Benguet on January 24. Tournament Organizer Carlos K. Mama-o Jr., a FIDE Arbiter and NCFP National Instructor, disclosed that Ebhram Hull of Itogon, Benguet emerged champion in the Kiddies Division. Kyler Zian Cosalan of Benguet State University–La Trinidad claimed second place, while Daren Tello of Kibungan, Benguet secured third. Meanwhile, Brent Ray Lorenzano of Saint Louis Center, Inc.–Baguio City topped the Open Division after outmaneuvering 2nd Benguet Chess Tournament champion Bert Tariagao of La Trinidad.
