Malasakit Center, now in Dipolog City

Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte- MALASAKIT CENTER LIVING IN DAKBAYAN

Zamboanga del Norte has been delighted with the launching of the Malasakit Center by Secretary Michael Llyod Dino in the City of Dipolog, along with the father of our province, Gov. Roberto Y. Uy where it is located in Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center on March 11, 2019.

It has been learned that the Malasakit Center program is a one-stop shop program under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte, which aims to facilitate the delivery of medical services to the government, which also provides opportunities to the poor who will benefit from free medicines and reduced hospital costs.

In a message from Governor Uy, he is grateful for the numerous blessings given to Zamboanga Del Norte, which also revealed that our province has now two Malasakit Centers and one of them in the City of Dapitan.

Under the program, patients will be provided with financial assistance to various offices, including the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and PhilHealth.

Accordingly, Sec. Diño said that the there is a P5 million allocation for the Malasakit Center every month in which this fund will be used for the benefit of poor patients.

After the unveiling of the Malasakit Center Marker, Sec. Diño turned-over a check worth of P5 million to Gobernor Uy.

The event was also launched by Vice-Governor Senen O. Angeles, Assistant Regional Director of DOH Dr. Joshua Brillantes, Mayor Darel Dexter T. Uy, former City Mayor Evelyn T. Uy, various municipalities in Zamboanga del Norte, various members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, chiefs of various government offices local, barangay captains and other government personnel.
