Davao checkpoint now uses X-ray baggage scanner

Davao City– The Task Force Davao is leveling up in terms of security inspection after it has installed a baggage scanner at the Sirawan checkpoint last week.

This will also speed up inspection and lessen waiting time of the passengers.

Lt. Col. Consolito Yecla, the commander of Task Force Davao, said that from the usual seven minutes the inspection is reduced to four minutes with the use of the baggage scanner.

“This will make the inspection more accessible and easier since we now have this scanner that will thoroughly inspect the baggage of the public,” Yecla said.
