Mr Alwin T. Tan of Guiwan, Zamboanga City named as the top 35th Most Outstanding Young Agri-preneurs in the Philippines.
Awarded by Agriculture Senior Undersecretary Domingo F. Panganiban in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte on December 15, 2022, during the 2nd National Young Farmers Summit.
Tan is the owner of Lettuce Eat, is one of ZAMPEN’s Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) 2022 Regional Awardee, winning him a total of ₱200,000 prize last October (50K Provincial Awardee and 150K Regional Awardee).
The YFC program is a competitive financial grant assistance program for the youth who will engage in new agri-fishery enterprises; implemented thru the DA – Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD).
