To strengthen its operational mobility and law enforcement efforts, the city government Monday, May 4, turns over three brand-new Toyota vehicles to Task Force Ordinance under the supervision of Executive Assistant Ret. BGen. Edwin de Ocampo.
Mayor Khymer Olaso together with his chief of staff Celso Lobregat and some members of the City Council led the turnover after the flag raising rites at the City Hall grounds.
The newly acquired units are expected to enhance the TFO’s capacity to enforce local policies and respond more efficiently to public safety concerns across the city.
The turnover ceremony was preceded by the blessing rites officiated by Rev. Arriel Nallonar, underscoring the city’s continued commitment to safe and responsive public service.
In addition, an Isuzu Deluxe black-colored vehicle was formally presented and turned over to Police Station 12 in Barangay Talon-Talon, serving as a follow-up to a similar turnover conducted in February 2026.
Present during the activity were Councilors BG Guingona, Guian Enriquez, Mel Sadain, Fred Atilano, Aida Paniorotan, CJ Dalipe, Joel Esteban and El King Omaga, City Administrator Percival Ramos, and Zamboanga City Police Office Director PCol. Fidel Fortaleza Jr., along with other police and city government personnel. (Arvin Midel)
