In a bid to further strengthen the anti-drug campaign in the communities, the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council led by Mayor John Dalipe and the DILG rolled out a series of training activities intended to strengthen institutional capacities of BADACs in the city.
Mayor John Dalipe lauded the DILG and other concerned agencies for their efforts in ensuring that the anti-drug campaign will be sustained and implemented with more vigor.
Dalipe vowed that his administration will be unceasing in its assistance and support to the anti-drug campaign.
Dubbed as SICAP-BADAC, the trainings were held in batches on June 1-2 for west coast barangays and June 5-6 for east coast barangays. The DILG together with the PDEA, DOH and other agencies facilitating the activity.
Participants were barangay chairpersons, the chairmen of the barangay Committees on Peace and Order and Women and Family, barangay duty officer and NGO representative in the barangay.
