Zamboanga: Preparations enter final stretch for Nat’l PRISAA 2023

Mayor John Dalipe together with National PRISAA Executive Director Elbert “Bong” Atilano Thursday afternoon convenes the Local Organizing Committee, as the National PRISAA Games 2023 is into the home stretch of preparations.

Mayor Dalipe urged all committee members to support and work closely together and ensure that all is set for the week-long event slated from July 13-19 that is expected to bring in some 10,000 athletes, coaches and guests to Zamboanga City.

The meeting held at the City Hall conference room discussed in detail the security measures, readiness of the different schools that will be used as billeting and game venues, deployment of fare matrix dispatchers in areas of convergence and all other issues.

Zamboanga City is hosting the National PRISAA Games for the fifth time since 2005 with the goal of boosting economy and tourism.

PRISAA Games, which stands for Private Schools Athletic Association is an annual competition for student-athletes from privately-owned schools throughout the 17 regions of the Philippines. The National Games is organized by the Private Schools Athletic Association.
