Mayor John M. Dalipe, GAD Chairperson and Mr. Wilfredo Aporongao, GAD Focal, attended the 1st Quarter Regional Gender and Development Committee 9 Meeting hosted by the City Government of Zamboanga held on February 16, 2023 at Sapphire Ballroom, Grand Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City.
The meeting highlighted the following agenda: a) Awarding of Certificate of Commendation to National GAD Resource Pool Members of Region IX; b) National RGADC Women’s Month Celebration; c) Compendium of RGADC IX policies, GAD-related studies and best practices; d) RGADC Summit; e) RGADC-PCW 2023 Work Plan; f) GM Efforts of POPCOM IX; and g) Presentation of City Government of Zamboanga’s Women’s Month Celebration.
GAD expressed their profound gratitude to Mayor John M. Dalipe and Councilor Jerome Santos for gracing the activity. Aporongao said, that they look forward to having more meaningful and fruitful GAD activities for Zamboanga City and entire Region 9!
